The Universe's Mirror

Here is a little piece of a project I've been working on recently, which is a kind of mythical origin story for a fantasy setting. I've been working on this setting in an RPG context, but it's always nice to flesh something like this out with prose or poetry. This little extract could work as in-universe poetry or even scripture.

The concept is one of an original universe which is suddenly split by a mirror. The reflections the mirror show go on to shape the origin of the worlds of that universe.
